We’ve been to the Arlington location several times. Every time we’ve had issues but last night was by far the worst. My husband and I took our two boys to see a movie. The theater was barely half full. The seats were ridiculously worn and my youngest son’s tray was dirty. I asked for it to be cleaned but they never remembered so I finally just wiped it down myself. The food was okay but I had to ask THREE times for a water refill for my 7 year old. It literally took them over 45 minutes to remember his drink. I would have gone up and refilled it myself but I recently broke my ankle and am on crutches. The rest of us were never offered drink refills and our dirty plates were never removed. The price is way too high for such crappy service. In the future we will just go out to eat at a nice place before the movie and stick to our own local theater that’s in much better condition. This place is a joke.

We had a great time! I took my hubby to the Arlington Highlands location for his birthday and he kept saying how much he liked it. This is coming from a man who loves the going to the show, so when he says he liked it, it's a hit. Our first time ever going to Studio Movie Grill and we had a great experience, the food was wonderful, fresh and delicious with a great variety. Our server was knowledgeable and gave me great suggestions. Seating was great too.

The table led strip is left on during the entire film now. The light from this washes out colors and details that you expect in a totally dark Theatre. You lose details in darker scenes because of it.

Drinks are good. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. And don’t expect a receipt even AFTER do a 1.00 verification before u get your food. (I understand that concept) Hard to contact management and Head quarters!

I paid 9.50 for a ticket at 2:00 on a Monday. The place was clean, staff was friendly. Sound was good, we didn't order food. Chairs were connected but roomy, my chair was ripped up pretty good but I couldn't move because you must pay for a specific chair. Did climb stairs, restrooms we're clean but a few lights were out above the toilets so it was dark in some restrooms. When staff wasn't busy they were on phones. Overall it was a good experience.

My wife and I will stick with the Green Oaks Movie Tavern. It's a little older, but they have great customer service, aren't stuffing in extra chairs, and don't leave lights on between you and the screen.

The current wait staff doesn't bend over to walk past you during the movie. They repeatedly asked a couple in front of us if they'd signed their receipt. This started at least half an hour before the movie ended.

The swivel chairs are too close together now. It feels like they added one or two in each row. It wouldn't be a problem in a recliner row.

I haven't been to the South Arlington SMG in a while, and won't be going back any time soon.
