Great furniture, the employees are awesome. Ask for Ruba Begum, she is fantastic and really listens to what you want, so she can find it.
Customer service here is horrible! They tell you what ever they have to so they can make a sale. The insurance company Freed's called Furniture Care Protection is a complete SCAM. When I tried to file a claim all the sudden they have all these stipulations and how the damage has to occur to get covered. Sales people don't tell you this when there selling you $2000 in coverage. This entire corporation is a SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! Save your money and don't do business with them.
Good service. Nice displays. Appealing styles.
As always, buyer beware. This furniture is mostly Asian made (like nearly everyone else) and is not premium quality. (Much better than Target, but not Maitland-Smith!) Further, what you get when they open the box may not be as nice as you remember at the store! If that happens, be persistent and you'll probably be pleased.
I had a wonderful experience. No kidding. I did a lot of research online for what I was looking for and saw a few things on the Freed's site that peeked my interest. When I went in I was greeted by a friendly staff member, Yolanda. We discussed the style I was looking for and she showed me a whole bunch of different stuff. Along the way we were brainstorming and she really started to get the style I was shooting for. In the end, I bought two pieces but she recommended that I wait on doing anything else until I saw them in my house and could design around them in context. She could have hard sold me and tried to sell me an entire room but she kept my best interests in mind, AND gave me a great deal on the furniture I did purchase.
Wish I could send a picture of my less than 5 year old bonded leather sectional. They sold us a 5 year warranty which covered many things, but not delaminating which is what our furniture did. That was only covered by the 1 year manufacturers warranty. We had problems from day one. The delivery people unwrapped our furniture on the truck and then scraped it around on the pavement to get it on a dolly and into the house. They messed up a bunch of the corners which they did have someone out to repair. A seam opened up on a recliner, that took 6 months for them to fix, partially due to the repair guy ordering the wrong part. We are shopping for new furniture, but won't be looking at Fred's.
