They were so rude. I came in with my best friend so that there would be two sets of ears to hear what the doctor had to say and they kicked me out. Her mom lives 6 hours away and wanted me in there with her. Thought colleges are supposed to make you feel comfortable when away from home...guess not.
The lady was so rude....i visited the health center for a checkup. I have allergic rhino conjunctivitis. Due to congestion, I had allergic attacks which made breathing difficult for me so I asked for urgent care mentioning that I am ready to wait even if the estimated time is long but the lady said that i need to make an appointment and i cannot just come anytime I wish to.Today is Tuesday and I got an appointment for Thursday. Anything could happen in 2 days. My parents are worried in India. On top of that, the lady did not even make an effort to look for someone who could assist me. Totally not professional.
You Guys should be open even on Sundays
I went to the health clinic for all of my health care needs for years while in grad school, and I'm so thankful for their services! I also had the student insurance, (which was actually great insurance and priced lower than my previous insurance through my job). I used the regular medical, the women's health care, the pharmacy, had lab tests done, got an IV drip once when I was really dehydrated, and even had some x-rays done there! (I was in grad school a while...) It's a great clinic and I loved that I never had to pay a copay, coinsurance, or extra lab fees at the clinic because I had the student insurance.
Waste of your insurance money.
