Arlington police Dept is a disgrace to the United States law enforcement system. People wonder why police are getting killed everyday but after seeing what this department does, you wouldn't feel that bad. They discriminate, they violate constitutionally protected rights, and they attack/kill civilians. If you have a choice to avoid going through Arlington, avoid it! Worse than driving through the worst ghetto in the country, you might not make it. Don't believe me? Check out the countless YouTube videos. They are not heroes, they are dirty rotten crooks. Thank God I got out of there, the police where I'm currently at are extremely professional and have never had any kind of misconduct as the Arlington police.
This place is a dungeon. Staff treats inmates like trash. And I know you're thinking "it's a jail" that still doesn't excuse them to treat us a sub-human. Most of us were there for traffic tickets and they treated us as if we were scum. The food is horrible, cheap sandwiches and milk was all that was on the menu. And the hogi that is given for dinner always has a bottom bun that feels like it was dipped in water just before served to us. And the only water we had to drink was from the disgusting sink. They never gave us anything water based, besides that bun on the hogi I guess. People were so desperate for hydration that I heard of a pod making Kool aid in the toilet. 80 percent of the staff is rude and this place is just a travesty. Avoid at all cost

11/21/17 10:25 AM Arlington PD doing what it does best. Fighting "real" crime, I mean revenue stream by having 10 officers dedicated to traffic stops on I-30. All day every day. Anytime I hear of something bad happening in your town I chuckle. Crooks get away with crime because your officers are too busy with pad and pen!! CMV enforcement too! You have two bit cops pretending they know trucks. I bet they're not even DOT certified! Even sadder still, how many of your officers had to resign and lose their peace officer license for fudging times on tickets? Such a disgraceful department!!!
Very poor service and no accountability. I would not bring my church youth photography club in the Arlington, Tx. Combination Arlington, Tx PD and Citizens with cameras - NOT SAFE. Thanks to Arlington, Tx PD
